We are a part of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Hyderabad, India.
Research projects in our lab use molecular, biochemical approaches along with quantitative microscopy tools to answer fundamental questions in cell biology and neuroscience. The lab offers a multi-disciplinary environment for trainees whose interests overlap with ours. We welcome applications from motivated students from biology as well as non-biology backgrounds. Trainees in the lab have typically ranged from biology, medical, engineering backgrounds and have successfully performed collaborative research. We particularly welcome applications from trainees with experience and interests in applying non-traditional fields to neurobiology, such as data science, machine learning based computational image analysis to extract and quantitate features, optics-instrumentation.
Ph.D. candidates are referred to the TIFR Ph.D. program.
