Research Overview

We operate an experimental physics laboratory specializing in condensed matter research. Our primary focus involves engineering hetero-structured thin films of quantum materials to explore and exploit unique quantum phenomena within condensed matter systems. Our research delves into understanding the electronic, optical and magnetic properties of these materials, with a particular emphasis on unraveling the intricate interplay between symmetry, topology, and robust spin correlations. Our work integrates principles drawn from the disciplines of physics, materials science, nanofabrication, and instrumentation. This multidisciplinary approach aims to devise innovative device designs for potential applications in fields such as spintronics, quantum sensing, and computing.
