Ph.D. Students

3. Amogh K. Ravi He is working with Pabitra Nayak and T N Narayanan, and working towards various aspects of pervoskite structures and their heterostructures. He joined the group in 2021 June.

4. Nandita Mohandas Nandita is working on different aspects of electrolyte engineering in electrocatalysis. After her project B, she joined the group in 2022 March where she will be working on both experimental and theoretical aspects of electrolyte enginerring.

5. Dipak Maity Dipak has joined the group for PhD after his project A and project B rotations (April 2022). He is working on materials for Opto-Spintronics and their different aspects of light-matter interactions.

6. Subhra Ranjita PattanayakSubhra did M.Sc. from Ravenshaw University, Odisha. In 2020, she joined TIFR, Mumbai as a Ph.D student. She registered for Ph.D with TNN after completing her Project A and Project B at TIFR Mumbai. Her research areas include electrocatalysis and energy storage. She is working on different aspects of metal air batteries aiming for novel optimised systems.

7. Rayantan SadhukhanRayantan is working on the development of single atom catalyst for different reactions particularly focusing on hydrogen evolution reaction . He joined TIFR as s Ph.D. student in 2021 and registered for Ph.D in 2023 June with TNN after completing his Project A and Project B rotations.

8. Preeti YadavPreeti is working on the development of high energy density batteries by engineering the electrodes and cell. She joined TIFR as s Ph.D. student in 2021 and registered for Ph.D in 2023 July with TNN after completing her Project A and Project B rotations.She is a joint student with Dr Ritesh Haldar and TNN

9. Som Sekhar SharmaSom is working on the development of magnetometry for understanding the electrochemical phenomena in different systems. He joined TIFR as s Ph.D. student in 2021 and registered for Ph.D in 2023 July with TNN after completing his Project A and Project B rotations.He is working with Dr Rajalakshmi and TNN

10. Shuvadip Pradhan Shuvadip is working on the development of next generation metal batteries by engineering electrode and electrolyte. He is also studying various side reactions occurring in batteries. She joined TIFR in 2022 and completed his Project B with TNN in 2024 February.

Anagandula Shravani
Ms. Shravani after her B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, worked at NCL Pune and IISc Bangalore as an Electron Microscopy supporting staff. Shravani joined TNN’s group in March 2019 where she is working on electron microscope based research. She is currently a scientific assistant taking care of electron microscopy facility, clean room etc.

Mr Sreekant Anil
Sreekant did his MSc at CUSAT, Kerala and joined Narayanan’s group in July 2023. He is working on the magneto-optics properties of ultra-thin 2D layers. prior to his joining as a JRF in the SERB project, he worked with Narayanan for his MSc project.
