Sawaal-Jawaab: Why engineers need Greek philosophy

Surajit and his graduate students have come up with simulations at very tiny length scales that can predict the yield point of solids almost 12 orders of magnitude away. This comes from an intersection of two theories- Heraclitus who said that everything flows, and Democritus who said that this flow was because of rearrangement of atoms.
