Research

We are a nonlinear optics lab that focuses on the development and application of coherent light sources in wavelength regions that are typically inaccessible to conventional lasers.

Fiber lasers are found everywhere today and are widely used in various industries, including telecommunication and medicine. Our lab aims to extend the current fiber laser technology across the entire UV to mid-IR spectrum by developing fiber-based continuous wave and ultrafast sources in this light range.
